Please join us at our 11th Annual Grandparents conference! This years workshops include:
Mary Hauff, Parent Program Manager, DSAM
Everyone seems to be talking about inclusion these days. Do you ever wonder what inclusion means or why it is a topic of conversation for parents of a child with Down syndrome? Do you ever ponder why inclusion is important? Do you ever think if inclusion is just for school? If so, take time to come, listen and discuss. Everyone is welcome…..after all we are inclusive…Right?
Life is Good
Nayef Albinali, Self Advocate
Nayef is a 30 year old young man with Down syndrome. Nayef lives on his own, holds down 2 jobs, and loves to travel. He has been an active member of the Association, attending and helping plan the youth and adult conferences, volunteering at the Step Up Walk and serving a term on the Board of Directors. He will be joining us this year to share some of his life experiences with you.
How do I register?
To register, either use the form below or download the conference brochure.
We wish to continue to provide this conference as a gift to our grandparents. While there is no registration fee, it costs the Association $15 per attendee. Conference donations will be gratefully accepted to offset our costs, but are not necessary. To make a donation, please visit our secure site to make a donation.
We hope to see you all on May 10th!
