Website Wednesday – LifePages

This weeks Website Wednesday we bring you:

LifePages: Creating Connections for Minnesotans (www.lifepages.org)

… was developed to help you find information about recreation and leisure activities, services, advocacy, and other useful things about life in Minnesota. Life Pages offers information for Minnesotans of all ages and abilities who want to enrich their leisure lifestyle as well as their connections to the greater community.

Life Pages is a project of Partners in Community Supports (PICS) and was developed in collaboration with the Research and Training Center on Community Living, University of Minnesota. The project is funded in part by the Administration on Developmental Disabilities’ Projects of National Significance program, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.

LifePages is a fantastic search engine for finding all sorts of things from Rec & Leisure (from advocacy events to music, to vacation and travel and everything in between!), to Community events, like volunteering or neighborhood groups, just about any service you can think of and a Resource page for consumers, professionals and families.

The search function is awesome and will let you narrow your searches to help you find activities near you, events, resources or services for people with or without disabilities, age appropriateness and more!

You can also set up a “My Life Pages” account and save all of the good stuff you have found!

Have fun searching! Let us know if you find anything neat!
